A Victorian, pewter, three part ice cream banquet mould with a crown to the top. This type of mould usually had fruits or flowers to the top and we have not seen this design with the crown before. It is unmarked but it dates from c.1890. The mould is in very good condition and the pewter has been polished so the exterior is very shiny. Many prefer pewter to have the dark patina which develops with age but for use the polished finish is practical. The interior is in excellent, usable condition.
