A small, pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a pumpkin. This mould is marked, in the casting, with a pattern number ’1711’ and the initials ‘L.G’. This is the mark of the French company Letang. It dates from c.1880. The pumpkin is very well detailed. The hinge is slightly loose but other than this the mould is in good condition. The exterior has a pale patina and the interior is in good, usable condition.
