Dimensions:
A small, pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a gourd. This is marked, in the casting, ‘L.G. 1738’. 1738 is the pattern number. On the inside of the hinges it is also marked ‘LETANG FILS PARIS 108 RUE VIELLE DU TEMPLE’. It dates from c.1880. It is naturalistically modelled and it is in good condition. The interior is slightly dull, but it could still be used, and the exterior has quite a dark patina.
