Miniature copper kettle

Miniature copper kettle

Code: G19931

SOLD

A miniature, Victorian copper kettle. This is well made, from a substantial gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1880. The handle and the lid are both made from brass and the lid has an acorn shaped finial. The interior of the kettle has been tinned so it could actually be used. Because of the way it is made it is most likely to have been made as a salesman’s sample. The lid has taken a knock, which has pushed it forward slightly, but other than this it is in very good condition.

Dimensions: Height 10cm. Length 10.5cm. Diameter 6.8cm.
