A pretty, nineteenth century decanter with gilt decoration. This is an ideal size for port or sherry. It appears to be moulded, as it has moulding lines down two of the corners. It is probably Bohemian, dating from c.1850. It is decorated, in gilt, with alternate stars and spots. It is in very good condition, with just slight wear to the gilding, commensurate with age.
This comes together with a silver decanter label which has a London silver assay mark for 1804. It also has the makers initials ‘J.W.’ which is the mark of John Williams. This is in very good condition.
Price includes postage within the U.K. Shipping to the U.S.A. add £25. Western Europe add £10.
