An interesting, 19th century, engraved, crystal wine cooler. This is French, it is made from a lovely, heavy quality crystal and dates from c.1860. The fourteen sided shape has alternately engraved panels, most engraved with stylised leaf forms and geometric designs, but there is also one engraved with a basket of flowers and another with a dragon. The lower sections of the panels are cut with ovals and the design is quite random. It is all nicely engraved and the piece is in excellent condition.
