An attractive, 19th century, French crystal liqueur decanter. This was probably made for serving liqueurs or it could have been for oils or vinegars. The size would make it perfect for either. It is made from a nice quality crystal and it dates from c.1860. There are cut designs to the neck of the decanter and also to the stopper, and the body of the decanter is engraved with a large, elaborate letter “M”, in a circular cartouche, beneath a crown. Both the decanter and stopper are in excellent condition.
