A small pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a pear. This is marked, in the casting, with the initials “CC” and there is also a pattern number “812”. CC is the mark of the French company Cadot and it dates from c.1880. The form of the pear is simple but naturalistic. The mould is in very good condition. The interior is in good, bright, usable condition and the exterior has quite a dark patina.
