A Wedgwood, dark blue, jasper dip biscuit barrel. This is marked “WEDGWOOD MADE IN ENGLAND” and it dates from c.1920. It is also impressed with a letter ‘P’ and a workman’s mark. It is decorated with a continuous band of classical figures and trees and the reliefs are good quality. The lid, handle and fitting are silver plated and are marked “EPNS” to the rim. It is in very good condition.
