A small, 19th century copper mould with fluted sides. This design is fairly simple but the mould is well made, from a substantial gauge of copper. It doesn’t carry any manufacturers marks, only the pattern number “559”, but it is probably French and dates from c.1880. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
Dimensions: Diameter 9.5cm. Height 6.7cm.
