A 19th century, miniature copper mould with acanthus leaves to the sides. This is stamped with a pattern number ’F316’ . The mould is made from quite a light gauge of copper, which would originally have been tinned all over, and it dates from c.1890. The tin has now been removed from the exterior revealing the copper beneath. The design consists of two tiers of acanthus leaves beneath small dome tops. It is in very good condition but the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
