A miniature, copper two part mould in the shape of a gourd. The base of the mould is stamped “JONES BROS DOWN ST.W.” and the top is stamped with a registered design number “RD121218”. Both parts are stamped with a letter “J” and when the J’s are lined up the gourd is correctly formed. This is well made, from a substantial gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1880. It is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in very good, bright, usable condition.
