A group of miniature copper moulds in the shape of a butterflies. These moulds are fairly lightweight and they date from the 1920’s. Originally they would have been totally coated in tin but this has been stripped, on the exterior, to reveal the copper beneath, although there is still some tin visible. There is good detail in the design and they do display particularly well when hanging.
