An interesting, miniature, oval copper mould. This is a lovely design with fluted sides and something like a radiating sun burst to the top. The flat section to the top is engraved with an ‘M’ beneath a crown. This is nicely engraved and would be the mark of an aristocratic household. The mould is made from a substantial gauge of copper and dates from c.1870. Unfortunately some of the high points on the corners have some minor repairs. The tinning, to the interior, is worn.
