Dimensions:
A miniature copper mould in the shape of a melon. This mould is French and it dates from c.1890. There is a small hole pierced in the end and this is probably from where a hanging loop has been attached in the past. The mould is made from quite a substantial gauge of copper and it is in good condition, with just very minor pitting to the copper. The tinning has slight wear but it is still good enough to be used.
