A small, 19th century, French copper mould. This is quite an unusual design to find in this size of mould. It has fluted, ‘sponge fingers’ to the sides, with a flat, raised centre and it is made from quite a substantial gauge of copper. It dates from c.1890 and is in very good condition, although the tinning, to the interior, is worn.
