A vintage, copper canele mould. This is French and it dates from the 1930’s. This type of mould was used for making the small French cakes called caneles which are still sold in nearly all French bakers. The mould is made from a substantial gauge of copper and it is in excellent condition. The tinning, to the interior, is slightly worn but it is still usable.
