A good quality, Victorian copper mould by Benham & Son. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It is marked “BENHAM & SON LTD WIGMORE ST. LONDON” within a strap shaped stamp and to the opposite side is the pattern number ’507’. The design consists of two tiers of columns, the taller ones angular and the lower ones rounded. It is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still in usable condition.
