Dimensions:
A Victorian copper ring mould with a penny top design to the top. This type of design, which resembles a series of overlapping pennies, comes in many different shapes and sizes. This one has a border of rounded topped columns. It is stamped with a number ‘255’ to the side. This would be a pattern number. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. It displays well either hanging or on a shelf. It is in excellent condition and the tinning, to the interior, is still good enough for the mould to be used.
