A pewter ice cream mould in the shape of a spear of asparagus. This would turn out a very naturalistic, life size spear of asparagus. It is unmarked, but it is probably French, and it dates from c.1880. It is in good condition and could still be used. The interior is quite bright and the exterior has a dark patina.
