A very unusual, French copper saucepan with a vertical handle.This would have been made for use in a confined space, most probably for use on a boat. It is stamped with the number “22” which relates to the diameter of the pan and it dates from c.1880. It is made from an extremely heavy gauge of copper, which has a very slightly planished finish, and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used. It is in excellent condition.
