Butter print carved with thistles

A 19th century, beechwood butter print. This print is carved with thistles. The carving is very naturalistic and it is deep and very well detailed. The print and handle are carved separately and they fit together with a carved screw thread. It is in very good condition and it dates from c.1860. There are a couple of small worm holes which have been treated and filled.
