A fine quality, early nineteenth century beechwood butter print carved with a pineapple. This piece is extremely well carved. The pineapple has good depth and detail and around this are tiny flower shapes. To the rim is a saw tooth border. It dates from c.1820. The print and the handle are carved from a single piece of wood. There are a couple of worm holes to the back of the print, which have been treated and filled, but other than that the piece is in excellent condition.
