Sycamore butter print carved with a flower

A nineteenth century sycamore butter print carved with a stylised flower design. This piece is quite deeply carved and it dates from c.1860. The print and the handle are carved from separate pieces of wood and they have a carved, screw thread to join them together. The face of the print is well carved and the print is in excellent condition.
