A Grimwades ‘Quick Cooker’, ironstone pudding boiler. These were designed so that your steam pudding cooks from the centre, as well as the outside, thus it cooks in a much shorter time. It dates from the 1930’s. All of the instructions for use are printed on the outside of the pot. Grimwades also used them as advertising pieces and there are adverts for numerous other items printed on the inside of the pot. It is in excellent condition and could, of course, still be used.
