A very attractive, early 19th century, Welsh oak, two division, table top cutlery tray. This is a simple but pleasing form with a nicely shaped handle. The wood has a very good, dark colour and patina and it dates from c.1820.
There is a small chip to the corner of the handle and there is wear to the wood on the base of one side of the central divider. Otherwise it is in good condition with no worm damage.
