A good quality, French copper, creme reversee pan. This is marked ‘E. DEHILLERIN 108 RUE COQUILLIERE PARIS’ and it dates from c.1880. It is also stamped ’S G P’ on the side of the pan and also on the lid. These would be the initials of a previous owner. It is made from an exceptionally heavy gauge of copper and has an acorn shaped, brass finial to the lid. The pan is 14.5cm. diameter by 10.7cm deep and including the handles it is 20cm. wide by 13cm. high. There is slight pitting to the copper but other than that it is in very good condition and the interior has been re-tinned.
