A small, 19th century, English copper, deep saute pan. This is marked “TEMPLE & CROOK IRONMONGERS MOTCOMB ST. S.W.” and it dates from c.1870. Temple and Crook, along with Benhams and Jones Brothers, were among the leading manufacturers of copperware in Britain in the19th century and this certainly is a good quality pan. It is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 16.2cm. Depth of pan 6.7cm. Overall length of pan and handle 29.5cm.
