A French copper preserve pan with cast brass handles. This has a circular mark to the side which reads ‘UNIS MERET FRANCE’ and it dates from c.1920. It is also stamped to the side with a number ’36’ which relates to the size of the pan. It is in very good condition, with just very slight marking to the copper, in the base of the pan, from use.
The pan measures 37.5cm. diameter by 12.2cm. high. Overall, including the handles, it is 47.2cm. wide by 14.8cm. high.
