A fabulous quality, 19th century copper scoop. This would have been used for dry goods such as grain or flour. The long, copper scoop is made from a very heavy gauge of copper. It has an elegantly shaped fitting, and a brass collar, which attach it to the turned mahogany handle. It is in excellent condition.
