A good quality, French copper saucepan and cover. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and the copper has a slightly planished finish. It dates from c.1880. The pan is stamped with the number ‘14’ which relates to the diameter of the pan in centimetres. There is pitting to the steel handle on the lid but other than that it is in very good condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
