A good quality, 19th century, French copper preserve pan. This is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. It is stamped, by the side of the handle, with the number “34” which relates to the internal diameter of the pan in centimetres. There is very minor denting and scratching to the base of the pan, from use, but otherwise it is in excellent condition.
