A late 19th century, French copper saucepan. This is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1890. It is stamped with a number ’20’ which relates to the diameter in centimetres. It has the typical French form of steel handle which is attached by copper rivets. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
