A really good quality, French copper saucepan with a pouring spout and a wooden handle. This piece is made from a very heavy gauge of copper, which has a slightly plannished finish. The handle is turned from a dark wood and this is attached to the pan with a substantial, and nicely shaped, brass fitting. It dates from c.1880 and is in excellent condition. The interior has been re-tinned, so it is suitable for use. The pan measures 15.2cm. diameter by 10cm. high and the overall length of the pan and handle is 34.7cm.
