A good quality, 19th century, French copper stockpot. This piece is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper. It has castellated seams around the base and up the side. The handles, which are made of brass, are quite an unusual shape, particularly the one on the lid. The stockpot has no manufacturers marks and it dates from c.1860. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
