A good quality, Victorian copper saucepan and cover. This is English and it dates from c.1860. It is marked, to the base, with a large letter “S” and there is a trace of the orb and cross symbol which was used by Benhams. It is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it has castellated seams. 

The pan measures 13cm. diameter by 9cm. deep and the overall length of the pan and handle is 24.5cm. 

It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
