A French, circular copper gratin dish. This is made from a substantial gauge of copper, it has fixed, steel handles and a rolled rim. It dates from c.1900. There was a split to the rim, by one of the handles, but this was from the manufacture. Otherwise, it is in good condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used. This type of dish is ideal for dauphinoise potatoes, or a vegetable gratin, and can be taken straight from the oven to the table.
