An interesting, early 20th century, basting tool. This is made from copper and has a tin handle. It would have been filled with molten fat which would have then been used to baste a joint of meat or roast vegetables. It dates from c.1910 and is in good condition. The tinning, to the interior, is still in good, usable condition.
