An early 20th century, French copper saucepan with a pouring spout and a hollow, copper handle. Having a small spout this pan is ideal for small quantities of sauce or for heating milk. It is well made, from a very heavy gauge of copper, and the spout has a planished finish. There is a manufacturers mark on the side of the pan. Part of this is quite worn but there is a star above the word 'FAVOR'. I have not been able to trace the mark but the pan would date from c.1910. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it is safe to be used.
Dimensions: Total Length 25cm. (9 7/8in) Diameter of pan 12.3cm. (4 7/8in) Depth 7cm. (2 3/4in).
