A small, French copper pan with a pouring spout and a hollow handle. This type of pan is ideal for making a small quantity of sauce or for heating milk or other hot drinks. This one is marked with the number '14' to the side of the pan, which relates to the internal diameter. It is 9.5cm. deep. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. The handle is hollow so that it does not retain the heat so much, which makes it a little easier to handle. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
