A good quality, 19th century, English copper saute pan. This is marked, to the side, “TEMPLE & CROOK LTD. IRONMONGERS. MOTCOMB ST. S.W.” and it dates from c.1880. Temple and Crook were one of the leading suppliers of quality copper cookware in the 19th century. The pan is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it has the typical, English form of steel handle. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
