A very deep, good quality, 19th century, French copper preserve pan. This pan is much deeper than the average preserve pan. It is made from a heavy gauge of copper, which has a very slightly planished finish. It has a rolled rim, attractively shaped brass handles and it dates from c.1890. It is in very good condition with just very slight scratching to the base from use.
Diameter of pan 34.5cm. Depth of pan 19.4cm. Overall width including the handles 41.8cm. Overall height including the handles 22.5cm.
