A deep, French copper preserve pan. This pan is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1870. It is much deeper than an average preserve pan, the pan itself measuring 41cm. diameter by 20.5cm. high. It has the typical French shape of brass handle to either side and, including the handles it is 51cm. diameter by 24.5cm. high. It has a rolled rim and a slightly rounded base and it is in very good condition.
