An early nineteenth century, large, French copper baking dish. This has a certain, rustic charm and it dates from c.1840. It is made from a very heavy gauge of copper, which has a planished finish. It has a fine, steel hanging loop, and a wide, wired rim. There are a couple of splits in the rim and there is marking to the base of the pan, from use. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
