A 7 inch, English copper saucepan and cover. This is made from a heavy gauge of copper and it has castellated seams around the base and up the side. There are no manufacturers marks, but it has the typical English form of steel handle and it dates from c.1870. Generally it is in good condition but there is pitting to the steel handles and there is also slight pitting to the copper on the lid. The interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 18cm. Depth of pan 11.8cm. Overall length of pan and handle 38.5cm.
