A good quality, 19th century, English copper frying pan or skillet with a brass handle. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, and it dates from c.1890. It has the typical, English form of steel handle. There is the remains of a manufacturers mark to the base but this is now quite worn and indistinguishable. The piece is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 22.5cm. Depth of pan 4cm. Overall length of pan and handle 43cm.
