A super quality, French copper, deep saute pan and cover. This doesn’t have any manufacturers marks but both the pan and cover are stamped with a number ’24’, which relates to the size in centimetres. It has one of the more unusual, French forms of steel handles which were only used by a few manufacturers. It is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it dates from c.1880. It is in excellent condition and the interior has been re-tinned so that it can be used.
