A good quality, large, 19th century, French copper salmon kettle complete with drainer. This is well made, from a heavy gauge of copper, has castellated seams around the base and up the side, and it dates from c.1880. It has attractively shaped brass handles, to both end of the pan and also to the lid, and these are attached by copper rivets. It is in excellent condition. The interior hasn’t recently been re-tinned and, although grey, it is still in good enough condition to be used.
