A very good quality, 19th century, copper saucepan and cover. This is English and it dates from c.1860. It is made from a very heavy gauge of copper and it has castellated seams around the base and up the side. The steel handles, which have the typical, English, triangular form of fittings, are attached with copper rivets. The pan and cover are both in excellent condition and the interiors have been re-tinned so that they can be used.
Dimensions: Diameter of pan 20.5cm. Depth of pan 13.8cm. Overall length of pan and handle 40.5cm.
