A good quality, 19th century, English copper preserve pan. This has a rolled rim and nicely shaped, cast brass handles and it dates from c.1860. It is made from quite a heavy gauge of copper. The pan measures 34.5cm. diameter by 10.2cm. deep and overall, including the handles, it is 45.5cm. wide by 14cm. high. It is in very good condition, with just very slight pitting to the copper, on the interior, from use.
